Human Services:Assistant Program Director - Brooklyn Requires a Master’s Degree in a Human Services field. At least two years of counseling experience, and at least two years of supervisory and administrative experience, preferably in a residential setting. Should have an understanding and knowledge of community services, domestic violence and women’s issues. Associate Counselor - Brooklyn and Manhattan Provides supportive counseling to residents, assists administrative staff and performs some security functions. Should have an Associates Degree and knowledge of domestic violence issues Case Manager - Brooklyn Responsibilities include providing individual and group counseling for those families ready for discharge to permanent housing. Develop and monitor service plans for individual residents and their families. Requires Bachelor’s Degree and at least one year experience in Social Services Certified Nurse's Assistant - Queens New York State certified nurses assistant required for facility serving the developmentally disabled. Preferably one year experience and AMAP certified. Child Care Worker - Manhattan Assists with childcare in a domestic violence residence. Duties include assisting with field trips, weekend activities and nutrition and exercise programs. Requires a High School Diploma or its equivalent Direct Care Counselor - Queens Assists consumers with bathing, feeding, grooming and other daily living skills. Requires high school diploma or its equivalent plus experience working with developmentally disabled adults. AMAP & SCIP a plus. Valid driver’s license necessary. On call position Supervisor of Children's Services - Brooklyn Supervises child care unit of domestic violence residence. Must have Masters Degree and experience providing services to children with special needs. Supervisory experience is necessary. LCSW and LMSW preferred.
