Human Services:

Associate Counselor - Brooklyn and Manhattan
Provides supportive counseling to residents, assists administrative staff and performs some security functions. Should have an Associates Degree and knowledge of domestic violence issues

Child Care Specialist - Brooklyn
Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Development or Child Psychology, experience working with children is preferred. Supervise Child Care Workers. Design and implement childcare curriculum, and provide art therapy to children.

Child Care Worker - Manhattan
Assists with childcare in a domestic violence residence. Duties include assisting with field trips, weekend activities and nutrition and exercise programs. Requires a High School Diploma or its equivalent

Clinical Records Clerk - Brooklyn
Maintains clinical records and performs clerical/secretarial duties as assigned. Requires high school diploma or its equivalent plus previous clerical/records experience. Must be able to type 45 wpm.

Counselor - Brooklyn
Responsible for case management, individual and group counseling and advocacy services for residents of domestic violence shelter. Requires Bachelors Degree in a Human Services field and counseling experience

Direct Care Counselor - Queens
Assists consumers with bathing, feeding, grooming and other daily living skills. Requires high school diploma or its equivalent plus experience working with developmentally disabled adults. AMAP & SCIP a plus. Valid driver’s license necessary. On call position

Quality Assurance Reviewer - Queens
Masters degree is preferred and at least three years experience working with OMRDD regulations. Reviewer needed for ICF/IRA sites.

Recreational Specialist - Manhattan
Bachelors Degree in Social Work or High School diploma with at least two years experience preferred. Responsible for program planning and development for abused families, or women and children with special needs. Provides verbal and written feedback to professional staff to help them assess the need for counseling and medical services.

Security Monitor - Brooklyn
Provides security services to maintain safe environment for residents and staff. Requires high school diploma or its equivalent and previous security experience. Must have current NYS security license.

Senior Evaluation Associate - Manhattan
Masters Degree in Measurement, Statistics, Behavioral or Social Sciences, with at least three years of experience in interviewing, data coding, questionnaire development, statistical analysis, computer programming, and clinical interviewing skills. Coordinate, supervise and assist with data collection activities, including conference presentations, and staff training

Service Coordinator - Queens
Bachelors Degree in a health or human services field, and one year experience as a Service Coordinator working with persons with a developmental disability and includes developing Individual Service Plans(ISP).

Shift Supervisor - Brooklyn
Bachelors’ degree in Social Work preferred. Requires 1 to 3 years experience working with victims of domestic violence and/or domestic violence shelters. One year supervisory experience preferred.

Social Work Supervisor - Queens
Must have Master’s degree in Social Work. NYS Certification as a Social Worker is preferred. At least 2 years experience in direct clinical services and/or at least one year of clinical supervisory experience Assesses mental and emotional functioning of residents and administers program of treatment.

Supervisor of Children's Services - Brooklyn
Supervises child care unit of domestic violence residence. Must have Masters Degree and experience providing services to children with special needs. Supervisory experience is necessary.
