Human Services:Associate Counselor - Brooklyn and Manhattan Provides supportive counseling to residents, assists administrative staff and performs some security functions. Should have an Associates Degree and knowledge of domestic violence issues Child Care Supervisor - Brooklyn Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Development or Child Psychology, experience working with children is preferred. Supervise Child Care Workers. Design and implement childcare curriculum, and provide therapeutic arts and crafts to children. Should have an understanding and knowledge of community services, domestic violence and women’s issues. Direct Care Counselor - Queens Assists consumers with bathing, feeding, grooming and other daily living skills. Requires high school diploma or its equivalent plus experience working with developmentally disabled adults. AMAP & SCIP a plus. Valid driver’s license necessary. On call position Recreational Aide - Brooklyn Requires high school diploma and at least one year of experience in Recreational activities. Engage school-age children in planned and informal recrea-tional and socialization activities. Must be knowled-geable of child development, domestic violence, and child abuse, and have demonstrated skills in interaction with children. Recreational Specialist - Manhattan Bachelors Degree in Social Work or related field and at least two years experience. Must assist in planning cultural and recreational activities within the N.Y.C area and coordinate trips outside the facility by working with resources. Should have an understanding and knowledge of community services, domestic violence and women’s issues. Security Monitor - Brooklyn Provides security services to maintain safe environment for residents and staff. Requires high school diploma or its equivalent and previous security experience. Must have current NYS security license. Senior Director of Services for the Developmentall - Queens Oversee ICF, IRA, transitional, employment program, and MSC services in NYC. Must have Masters and extensive onsite exp. In residential/clinic services with MR/DD consumers. Involves managerial/admin oversight of staff, consumer benefits, billing, QA and Compliance. Social Work Supervisor - Brooklyn Assesses mental and emotional functioning of resi-dents and administers programs for necessary treatment. Must have Masters Degree in Social Work, and/or for a Licensed Social work degree and at least Five years of experience, working with victims of domestic violence and their dependent children. Supervisor of Children's Services - Brooklyn Supervises child care unit of domestic violence residence. Must have Masters Degree and experience providing services to children with special needs. Supervisory experience is necessary. LCSW and LMSW preferred.
